Why to appear for NET exam after your post graduation?

UGC NET is one of the most prestigious exams which a postgraduate scholar can take it does not open only the door to the job assistant lecturer but also provide you ample opportunity to fulfill your dream of pursuing research in a prestigious institution.  

Net Exam also got quite a lot of popularity because of the lucrative career to the public sector Many public enterprises are selecting their subject matter specialist from NTA NET Exam. So if you are planning to go to the teaching profession or wanted to pursue your dream research or wanted to get a secure public enterprise job NET exam is definitely an exam you should prepare for.

The elegibility Criteria for NET Exam are described as below  

 For General Category Candidates – 55% aggregate in Master’s Degree or Equivalent Degree

 For ST/SC/OBC/ PWD/ Transgender Candidates - 50% aggregate in Master’s Degree

 The Ph.D. degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by 19th September 1991 (irrespective of the date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks for appearing in NET.

 The students pursuing Master’s Degree or equivalent exam or the students who have appeared in the final year exam of their PG degree but their result is still awaited can apply for the UGC NET Exam.

However, such students will only be considered for the admission for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor when they have passed their Master’s Degree with required percentage criteria within the 2 years of NET Result declaration date. Else, they'd be disqualified for UGC NET.
